On Thursday, November 21st, the Peterborough Branch hosted a sold-out equine seminar, focused on senior care. Dr. Leah Knox DVM of Gilson's Equine Veterinary Services discussed regular dental, hoof, and vaccine maintenance, joint care, emergency situations, and end-of-life options. Joyann Woolsey of Buckeye Nutrition explained the importance of senior-specific nutrition, ensuring proper fibre levels are met using hay replacements. 

Participants received a booklet with several articles specific to equine seniors, as well as a coupon for in-store use. Several draw prizes were donated by our equine vendors, including Equine Choice, Tri-Acta, and Omega-Alpha.
