Thank you to everyone who attended our sold-out Winter 2024 Beekeeping Seminars, held at the Peterborough Branch. Both our Beginner and Advanced Seminars saw 20 participants from various areas across Peterborough and Northumberland counties. 

During the Beginner Beekeeping Seminar on February 13th, guest speaker, John MacFarlane discussed start-up costs, basic equipment, various roles in the hive, hive placement & bylaws. In the Advanced Beekeeping Seminar on February 27th, John discussed swarm prevention, hive splitting, queen selection, integrated pest management & biosecurity. 

Attendees of both seminars were given an information package, including coupons to use in-store.
